Easter Break

When we think of Easter immediate connotations of chocolate, rabbits and eggs come to mind. There is then the religious side to Easter that celebrates Jesus rising from the dead, and those who have given up confectioneries for 40 days get to once again indulge . 

To Christians Easter is a massive event with huge importance, likewise to Christmas . To me personally it's another day and an excuse for people to celebrate the next day bank holiday (good for the bars and clubs).

I spent my Easter on holiday in Spain, possibly my first Easter where I haven't had to wear continuous layers of clothing! The weather was lovely and I chilled on the beach with my family eating ice cream. It was a great distraction from the reality of exams that waits for me back at home . Although I didn't receive any eggs or attended an Easter church ceremony I had a fab day! Happy Easter people 🐰🍫🍳!!
