"I have two new years resolutions for 2015:
1. To make the most of the year, being happy.
2. Work hard succeed goals, maintaining a positive mind-set and sharing this on my blog."
I can confidently say I achieved these goals. This year has bought me so many memories, new friendships, proud A Level results, a driving license, my 18th birthday, my mums wedding, my first holiday abroad independently, a new job and lots more. 2015 has had it's ups and downs but I suppose it can be interpreted as a learning curve, A new year provides an opportunity for a new start and I am excited for what 2016 will bring to me, my friends and my family.
A few life lessons thank you 2015.
- Although it might feel like the end of the world, it's not.
- Rejection can be a good thing. Being rejected by one thing could be because a better one is waiting for you.
- You need time for yourself. A full time job in the week alongside a weekend job and college assignments can be a lot.
- Everything happens for a reason.
- Nandos isn't even that cheeky anymore.
- Petrol is expensive.
- Being a 'giver' rather than a 'taker' provides the most happiness.
- Watching someone who is finally happy after a dark patch is the best feeling.
- It is important to be there for people and be happy for them.
- Holding grudges isn't worth it.
- Everything changes, where you are now and who you are with will not be the same in a years time.
- You realise who is there for you when you need them the most.
- The most expensive is not necessarily the best (ALDI is great).
- Be grateful of what you've got, never take people and things for granted.
- You can watch 'Frozen' continuous times all year long and it never gets old.
Proper deep, emotional blog post but I'm an adult now and grown up and mature so it's allowed. Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and a happy New Year!
I disagree with watching frozen endlessly - great film in small doses though as with any Disney film! Great post :)
