This week has been a strange one in a sense that it has felt as though it has gone very slow, but at the same time fast as the weekend fast approaches.
I will have celebrated three birthdays this week, my sisters and two close friends eighteenths which is great - that's two meals out, a party and a lot of cake! Its nice to have something to look forward to in January as its such a dark, cold time of year.
Other than this the week has revolved around a never ending English essay on Sylvia Plath and Seamus Heaney, to which has been a working progress for over two weeks now and is deadline to be handed in tomorrow morning (no sleep for me tonight then). On top of this college work is increasing as it is dreaded mock week next week.
Advantages being: x3 days off college and two lie ins
Disadvantages being: I feel so unprepared for these mocks as I have been so focused on coursework and looking in to further education options that I forgot about them altogether, not the best start and resulting in a lot of last minute revision.
Lastly, my dentist gave me a fat lip. I hate fillings but I can't keep putting them off! However if anyone asks why I've got a fat, swollen lip I'm telling them I got in a fight and won... no one will ever know.
